• Question: Why was the gun invented if it was just made to hurt and kill?

      As sensible, reasoned people, you are right to ask why instruments of death are made. Nobody should kill anyone else. However humans come from a long line of hunter-gatherer animals so it’s natural that we developed to hunt and lay claim to our territory. The world used to be a dramatic place to explore so there were all kinds of wars. These used to be fought with clubs, spears, arrows… technology evolves to make more efficient weapons so wars can be won. Guns are the natural product of this, I’m afraid 🙁
