      I have two favourite scientsits:

      1) Rita Levi Montalcini: Italian noble prize winner for her work in neurobiology. I find fascinating that during World War II she set up a laboratory in her bedroom which laid the groundwork for much of her later research.

      2) Rosalind Elsie Franklin: an English chemist and X-ray crystallographer who made contributions to the understanding of the molecular structures of DNA.

Richard Feynmann was a dude. Really great at explaining very complicated things.
