• Question: When do you think robots will take over the world ??

      Hello xizzyx! This is actually a really deep and important question. Robots and computers in general will do exactly what you ask them to do. If you’re not careful, they’ll do it very efficiently for ever. For example you might tell a robot to make pencils. If it runs out of material, maybe it will do it’s best to get more wood to make more pencils. Maybe it’ll decide to cut down all the trees and turn them into pencils! You need to be careful to tell computers and robots when to stop!

      There are a lot of very clever people who have written very strict rules to prevent things like that happening, and nobody wants any of their robots to take over the world, but you never know… 👿

      Hopefully, they will never take over the world but just help us with our workload.

      I think we’re still a long way from Robots being able to ‘think’ enough to want to take over the world. I like to think that if we do make them think, they wont be so agressive or at least not need the same resources as us, so we can share the world.
