• Question: what to you is the greatest inventions

      I have recently published a paper about my research. I did not invent anything, just discovered new “stuff”. It is a real satisfaction to see your work with your name on an article that anyone can read 🙂

      I think that the computer is a pretty incredible invention (and my job would be much harder without one)

      Telephones are amazing! Just think: once upon a time people had to write letters and deliver them on horse-back to other people, then wait days or weeks for a reply. Imagine how the world changed once people could talk to each other in real time without delays! We take our smart-phones for granted; and what with email, text-messages, WhatsApp, SnapChat etc there are so many ways to communicate that the ‘telephone’ part of it sometimes gets forgotten! Remember where it all started and give thanks to the telephone! :mrgreen:
