• Question: what is the most unefficient/ un-viromentally friendly type of power station

      Coal power stations are horribly polluting. We always hear about nuclear power being ‘dangerous’ but it really isn’t. So many more people have died from working at coal plants. They pump out so much Co2 and we in the UK are trying hard to move to other methods of energy generation, like nuclear which is very safe and clean.

      Coal power is pretty bad for the environment, although if it wasn’t at least a little bit efficient.

      Off the top of my head, whilst hydro-power is much better for the environment, it’s really inefficient in terms of energy in versus energy out.

      You win some, you lose some I guess!
