The meaning of all kinds of life (from bacteria to whales) is to breed and make more life. Nothing more, nothing less.

However humans in particular (usually!) like to do more than just breed, so we also set our minds to learning about and exploring our universe through science.

There is no meaning, only cause. Science is causal. It searches for the goals of things. We are born because of something, not with a goal. Humans do set goals for their life. But that does not mean life as a meaning or goal.
