ATLAS experiment is a digital camera that photographs collisions of particles produced by the Large Hadron Collider accelerator. We analyse the data collected by ATLAS to understand the building blocks of the Universe. We thus discovered a new fundamental ingredient of the Universe (the Higgs boson). And we hope to discover new particles, which would be a revolution in particle physics.
