      Hey Joseph, thanks for the question!
      To be honest I just kind of ended up here. I originally wanted to do something to do with space when I was studying at university. When I finished there and was looking for a job, I found one at a particle accelerator near Oxford. It just so happens that the part of the accelerator that had a job opening was at the ‘ion source’, so that’s where I went! Eight years later and I’m one of the world experts on ion sources!
