• Question: is there progress on curing cancer?

      Yes, there is. Many scientists are working really hard in order to understand every different aspect of the different types of cancer and try to find a cure for them.

      Hey Axy. There was something in the new just the other day about some miracle cure for cancer, actually… A lot of money and a lot of scientists are working on a cure for cancer using lots of different methods. The problem with cancer is that it is different for each person and every type of cancer is different. It’s not like a normal disease with one particular weakness that’s the same for everyone.

      As well as medical cures, we’re working on using particle accelerators to blast the cancer away with targeted hot spots. This can easily be tailored for different people and only takes a few minutes to do, so it’s a very promising technique!
