• Question: is pluto actually a planet ?

      Hey Melissa! Pluto is not a planet 🙁 It was down-graded a few years ago because it’s just too small. There are lots of big asteroids in the solar system (some bigger than Pluto) and if Pluto were an official planet then they would have to be, too. Since we don’t want to have to learn the names of 100 planets at school(!), it’s easier just to forget about Pluto ever being a planet 👿
