• Question: Can any of you explain string network condensates or have I been watching too much big bang theory?

      Sorry, this is not really my area of expertise and I think that the majority of my knowledge about string-net condensation might come from the big bang theory as well! 🙂

      Though my field is closer to theoretical physics of string theory, I can not explain it either. When I want to search for a physics concept, my first stop is at Wikipedia. They are always very precise and clear. At least at the scientific topics. I found this article:

      Sheldon Cooper’s a very clever guy, but only on television. The range of theories he’s come up with would put even Einstein to shame! I don’t think any of them are based on real life, though 🙂
