Yes, I was. I never struggled. I worked hard from day one. But it came naturally to me, as I was curious to know, to find out. With a solid foundation, it’s easy to add new understanding and knowledge. Keep working hard and you will never struggle in fact.
When I was in school I was one of the most intelligent students there. When I transitioned to college and then again to university, it was clear that there are actually a lot of people smarter than me! But it doesn’t matter if you’re the best or not: as long as you are curious about the world and are constantly asking “Why?”, then you can be a great scientist. Good luck!
I worked really hard to get good grades, anyone who tells you that they didn’t have to work hard to do well in science is lying.
I did struggle with some bits (I remember really struggling with Trigonometry when I first learned it, and I still have trouble understanding electric circuits), but I just worked extra hard to pass those exams and then avoided those topics from then on 😛
You don’t have to be good at everything to be a scientist, just your bit.
No, I was not. I had some classes in which I was better than others but during high school I was not “the most intelligent” student of the class. Anyways, lot has changed since then.
So, keep up the good work!
